We raise funds every year for both our school fund, and for various charities. School funds are used to pay for trips, visits and exciting supplementary activities/resources, to enhance the learning in our school. Pupils and parents are always involved in developing spending plans and priorities, through Pupil and Parent Council Meetings.
Every year we support various charities such as Macmillan Cancer Care, Poppy Appeal and Comic Relief. In addition, pupils choose other charities to support with funds raised from termly non-uniform days, and for our yearly Christmas Show collections. Most recently, pupils have chosen to support the World Wildlife Fund, The Scottish Charity Air Ambulance (which has served our rural community well) and Yorkhill Children’s Hospital. In addition, we are very proud that several of our pupils have chosen to fundraise independently for specific charities of their choice.
